Cooking with beans is one of my favorite ways to save money on my grocery bill. Beans are cheap, filling, SO healthy, and they taste great.

One of my biggest grocery-budget helpers is cooking a few meat-free meals a week where beans are the main protein. I highly recommend that anybody who wants to save money take up the same practice.

And to help you out, I’ve compiled a list of awesome recipes that use beans. While many of the recipes still contain meat, you can often cut back on the meat that is in a meal when you use beans (cuz they’re pretty filling and full of protein).
